Security is an essential when hosting a party!
It is used to minimize the risk of party crashers and fights. It is suggested that the list holder (person who ticks the names of those who have arrived off the invite list) is accompanied by security guard. This is to insure any uninvited and unwanted visitors leave the premises immediately. Security is needed to be present and observant throughout the duration of the party, to ensure any possible fights, arguments or dangerous situations are dealt with responsibly. Security is also needed to assure all of those that attending remain on the premises. As once at the party, those attending are now the hosts responsibility.
Tips for security:
-Your security can be anyone, preferably older than those invited and with good physical strength.
-Lock all the possible exits except for main entrance, to insure everyone remains on the property.
Another form of security is the police.
A few weeks before your party is scheduled to take place, go online or down to your local police station and fill out a Party safe sheet. This notifies the police that a party is being held; they do a few routine drive bys, to check that everything is going okay and everyone is safe.
